What is Netflix Keysmash?

Keysmash is Netflix's daily vowel-fill word puzzle. It is part of Netflix Puzzled, the collection of free daily word, logic, and visual games hosted on Netflix's Tudum site and in the Netflix Puzzled mobile app, alongside titles like Bonza, Sudoku, and Crossover. The idea is simple: a themed set of words appears with the vowels removed, and you type the missing vowels back in.

It is a clever twist on the classic "fill in the blanks" idea. The consonants and the theme are enough to name each word, and typing the vowels back turns reading into a small, satisfying act of reconstruction. Netflix offers one Keysmash board a day. It is a lovely daily ritual, but when you finish it and want another, there is nowhere official to go.

That is why this site exists. The Keysmash Game is an independent, free edition of the same vowel-fill idea, built for players who want to keep going. It is not the official Netflix puzzle and it is not affiliated with Netflix — it is a fan-made companion that gives you Keysmash puzzles whenever you want them.

How to play

The idea here is the same as the Netflix version. Every puzzle is a themed set of words with the vowels — a, e, i, o, u — removed, leaving the consonants and a blank for each missing vowel. Read the theme, read each consonant skeleton, and type the vowels back in. Fill every blank in a word correctly and it locks in; solve every word to finish the set.

The controls are built for phones first. Tap a blank and a vowel keypad appears; on a desktop you can just type. The next blank is selected automatically as you go, so you can fly through a word you know. Hints are unlimited — each one reveals the next missing vowel of the word you are on — so you are never truly stuck.
